Photographer in Cambridge is a sole trader photography business based in Great Cambourne, Cambridge. This page explains what personal information I collect, why I collect it, how I look after it, and how this website uses cookies.
What I collect
- Enquiries: your name, email address, phone number and anything you include in your message.
- Bookings: the contact and booking details I need to plan, deliver and invoice your shoot, plus the photographs I take.
- Website visits: anonymous statistics about how people use this site, such as pages visited and device type. These are collected through cookies, and only with your consent.
How I use it
- To reply to enquiries and send quotes
- To arrange, deliver and invoice photography work
- To improve this website
I do not send marketing emails or newsletters, and I never sell or rent your details to anyone.
Who I share it with
I share only the minimum needed with the services that run this website, such as Google Analytics. I do not pass your details to anyone for their own marketing.
How long I keep it
- Photographs: kept indefinitely, as part of my archive and portfolio, and so clients can order reprints later. I will delete your images if you ask.
- Invoices and booking records: 7 years, to meet HMRC tax requirements.
- Consent forms: kept for as long as I keep the related photographs.
- Client gallery accounts: kept until the gallery is closed, or on request.
- Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking: deleted within 12 months.
Photographs of children
Some shoots, such as family or event work, may include children. I only photograph and use images of children with the consent of a parent or guardian, agreed at the time of booking.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for essential functions, anonymous statistics and embedded content such as maps, videos and reviews. Your rights
You can ask me to:
- tell you what information I hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information
- stop or limit how I use it
- send you a copy of your information
To make any of these requests, email me and I will reply within one month. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
